Ingredients & Prep

   1 Red cabbage shredded fine
   2 Red onions thinly sliced
   150 ml  Red wine vinegar
   80 g  Brown sugar
   25 g  Fresh ginger finely grated
   2 tsp  Mustard seeds
   1 tsp  Allspice
   2 pinch  Cinnamon Ground
   1 tbsp  Olive oil
   1/2 tsp  Salt

Method

  Step 1
Place oil, cabbage & onion in a pan on a med heat, cook until it wilts down.
  Step 2
Add the rest of the ingredients in the pan turn heat to low & simmer with a lid for 20 mins giving the cabbage a stir now & then, remove lid & turn heat up to reduce excess liquid if required.

Suggestion & Tips

Great with roast meats, duck etc.
