Ingredients & Prep
1 Cabbage outer leave removed & quartered
100 ml
Rapeseed oil
1 tsp
Fennel seeds crushed
1/2 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Black pepper freshly ground
Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180'c, cut off the thick part of the stem of the cabbage but not too much as loose any leaves.
Step 2
Add oil in a bowl, add crushed fennel, salt, & pepper, mix together.
Step 3
Take a baking tin & lay cabbage on their backs & brush oil mixture over cabbage quarters, gently work the oil in between the leaves into the middle.
Step 4
Roast in the oven for about 30 to 40 mins or until light nut brown, baste & turn them a couple of times.
Suggestion & Tips
Great with a roast or vegan sausages.
