Ingredients & Prep
500 g Sweetcorn tinned & drained
4 Bacon rashers chopped
1 Banana shallot finely chopped
250 ml Full fat milk
250 ml Double cream
30 g Butter
2 Garlic cloves finely grated
3 tbsp Flour
1/2 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
sprinkle Parsley leaves
In a bowl whish the flour in with the cream, then whisk in the milk until there are no more lumps, then mix in sweet corn set a side.
Place a saucepan over a med heat, add butter & bacon & fry bacon until just crispy, then add garlic & shallots for a minute to soften, then pour in milk sweet corn mixture into the pan & add pepper, then stir until it come to the boil, gently simmer gently stirring for 1 minute, then pour into a serving dish & garnish.
Suggestion & Tips
You can liquidise this to make a soup.
