Ingredients & Prep

   800 g  Brussel Sprouts trimmed & cut in half
   8 Smoked streaky Bacon rashers chopped
   2 Banana Shallots finely chopped
   100 ml  Double cream
   60 g  Cream cheese or mascarpone
   25 g  Butter unsalted
   1/2 tsp  Freshly ground black pepper 
   1/4 tsp  Salt


  Step 1
Blanch the sprouts in boiling water for 2 mins, then drain in a colander & set aside.
  Step 2
In a frying pan over a med heat, add butter & bacon pieces & fer for 2 mins then add shallots & fry for another 3 to 4 mins until a little colour.
  Step 3
Next add sprouts into the pan toss or stir carefully & cook for 23 to 4 mins, then add cream & cream cheese, salt & black pepper, toss/stir for 1 minute, tip out into a serving bowl.

Suggestion & Tips

You can vary the cooking time of the sprouts according to your taste.
