Ingredients & Prep

   600 g  Carrots peeled & cut in half
   150 g  Butter unsalted
   50 g  Sugar
   4 Star anise
   1/2 tsp  Salt

Method

  Step 1
Place carrots in a sauce pan the just cover with water, add butter, sugar, star anise & salt & cook on a low heat for 20 to 30 mins or until soft.
  Step 2
You can eat straightaway but for best results leave to cool for a few hours in cooking liqueur, then re-heat & serve.

Suggestion & Tips

Great with roast meats, Duck etc.
