Ingredients & Prep

   650 g  Green or French Beans top & tailed
   60 g  Blanched skinless almonds
   2 Garlic cloves finely grated
   2 tbsp  Olive oil
   25 g  Butter salted
   1 tbsp  Lemon juice
   1/2 tsp  Freshly ground black pepper 

Method

  Step 1
Place a saucepan on a med heat with hot salted water, add beans bring to a boil & cook for 3 to 4 mins, then drain into a colander & run the cold tap over then to stop them cooking & set aside.
  Step 2
Place a frying pan or wok over a med heat, then dry fry the almonds until light brown then tip into a bowl.
  Step 3
Place butter & oil in the same pan & fry off garlic for 30 seconds until soft, then add almonds, beans, lemon juice & pepper in the pan toss/stir all together for 1 minute then tip onto a serving platter.

Suggestion & Tips

Good with most meals especially fish dishes.
