Black fermented soy beans
2 tbsp
rice wine or sherry
2 tbsp
groundnut oil
1 tbsp
garlic clove finely grated
1 tbsp
fresh ginger finely grated
1 tbsp
soy sauce
1 tsp
Caster or fine palm sugar
1 tsp
cornflour
Method
Step 1
In a bowl soak beans with rice wine & soy sauce for a couple of hours, mash the black beans with the back of a fork.
Step 2
Mix all the other ingredients in with the beans.
Suggestion & Tips
Great with beef, onion & spring onion in a stir fry.
