Ingredients & Prep
600 ml Double cream
120 g Caster sugar
7 g Gelatine powder
2 tsp Vanilla paste or extract
In a bowl mix caster sugar with gelatine powder.
Place the cream in a saucepan over low to med heat, stir & simmer for 1 minute, take off the heat & add sugar mix & vanilla & stir in.
Pour into ramakins or small pudding moulds like dariole ones if you wish to turn out later.
Allow to cool then put in the fridge for at least 4 hours to set.
Suggestion & Tips
If you use a vanilla pod scrape out seeds & put the empty pod shell in as well, remove shell after cooking. Gelatine is an animal product, for vegetarians use Agar Agar powder.
