Ingredients & Prep

Pork cut into strips
125 g
Honey runny
35 g
Fresh ginger finely grated
5 Garlic cloves grated

Soy sauce
2 tbsp
Sriracha or chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp
Rapeseed oil or groundnut oil
1 tbsp
Rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp
Black pepper
1/2 tsp
Salt
Garnish
2 tbsp
Toasted sesame seeds
2 Spring onion cut finely
Method
Step 1
In a dry frying pan or wok (best) over a med heat toast sesame seed until light brown, tip out & set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl mix together the honey, rice wine, soy sauce & srirachs sauce, set aside.
Step 3
Heat the pan on a med heat, add oil & fry pork strips in batched, cook & stir until light brown, remove with a slotted spoon & repeat until all the pork is cooked, set aside on a plate.
Step 4
Add ginger & garlic to the pan & fry off for 30 sec stirring constantly, pour in honey mixture in the pan, stir & reduce sauce to a sticky glaze, place cooked pork back into the pan, stir & serve & garnish with sesame seeds & spring onion.
Suggestion & Tips
Serve with a stir fry veg & or rice. You could use chicken instead.
