Black beans drained weight

Fresh cooked beetroot chopped

Firm tofu
1/2 Onion med chopped

Cooked brown rice

Instant porridge oats

Walnuts chopped

Miso paste
1 tbsp
Tomato puree
1 tbsp
Ground flax seed
1 tsp
Garlic powder or granules
1 tsp
Freshly ground Black pepper

Method
Step 1
Blitz the onion in a food processor until it’s the size of rice, then add to a frying pan with half the oil over a med heat & cook until light brown, while cooking blitz the mushroom to the same size & add the onion & cook until all the water evaporated away, then tip into a mixing bowl & set aside.
Step 2
In the food processor add nuts, rice, tofu, miso paste, tomato puree, garlic powder/granules, flax, instant porridge, black pepper & beetroot, blitz to a course paste, tip mixture in the onion & mushrooms & combine into a dough.
Step 3
Form into patties then fry in a clean frying pan with remaining oil until browned on both sides, done.
Suggestion & Tips
Have with wholemeal buns with salad & vegan cheese slices & mayo if you wish.
