Ingredients & Prep

   700 g  Raw shelled prawns
   250 ml  Water
   150 ml  Double cream
   50 ml  White wine
   30 g  Butter
   2 Garlic clove finely chopped
   1 tbsp  Plain flour
   1 tbsp  Fresh parsley chopped
   1 Chicken stock cube or gel pot
   2 tsp  Dijon mustard or dry mustard powder
   2 tbsp  Olive oil

Method

  Step 1
Heat butter in a pan until it melts, add flour, stir until it bubbles, add water & stock cube whisk out any lumps.
  Step 2
Add wine, cream & mustard stir & bring to boil & cook sauce for 2 mins.
  Step 3
Add raw prawns, salt & pepper & cook for a further 3 mins, take off the heat & stir in parsley & serve.

Suggestion & Tips

Serve with rice & or fried potatoes or just crusty bread. You can use other shellfish if you prefer.
