Ingredients & Prep
200 ml
Cider
100 ml
Dark rum
30 g
Dark brown sugar
30 g
Butter
1/4 tsp
Angostura bitters
1 Cinnamon stick
Garnish
4 Orange slices (optional)
Method
Step 1
Place cider & cinnamon stick into a saucepan & bring to the boil, then set aside the pan for 20 mins.
Step 2
Place pan back on the heat & bring to a simmer, then add sugar& stir in, turn off the heat, remove cinnamon stick, then add rum, butter & bitters.
Step 3
Blitz the mixture with a stick/hand blender to emulsify then pour into glasses & serve hot/warm.
Suggestion & Tips
Clear glass cups are nice to serve in.
