Ingredients & Prep
400 ml
Hot strong made coffee
40 ml
Double cream
3 tbsp
Irish whiskey
to taste
Golden syrup
Method
Step 1
The trick with Irish coffee is to slightly whip the cream to very soft peaks
Step 2
First add 1 tbsp of whisky per cup, more if you like, then fill glass cup 2/3rds with coffee, stir in any syrup to taste, then spoon whipped cream carefully over to the top & mound slightly.
Suggestion & Tips
Jameson`s. Paddy or Bushmills whisky work well. Try Jack Daniels for an American.
