Ingredients & Prep

   450 g  Beef or Pork minced
   60 g  Dry breadcrumbs
   2 Banana shallots finely chopped
   1 Egg beaten
   2 tbsp  Thai Fish sauce
   2 Kaffia lime leaf finely chopped
   10 Cocktail sticks
  Sauce
   200 g  Sweet chill sauce
   100 g  Hot chilli sauce
   1 tbsp  Lime juice

Method

  Step 1
Per-heat oven to 180'c
  Step 2
In a bowl mix well mince with breadcrumbs, shallot, egg, fish sauce & Kaffia lime leaf.
  Step 3
Next roll mixture into small bite sized balls, then pace on a non-stick baking tray or sheet & cook for 20 mins in the oven.
  Step 4
Place all the sauce ingredients into a saucepan mix together, then add cooked meatballs into the sauce, place over a low heat, cover & cook for an hour.
  Step 5
Remove meatballs from the saucepan place on a serving bowl & stick in a cocktail stick to serve.

Suggestion & Tips

Meat ball can be made in head of time & re-heated before serving. Any left over sauce can be used as a dip as well.
