Ingredients & Prep

Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 170°C fan.
Step 2
make a bain Marie by placing a bowl over a saucepan of just simmering water, don't let the water touch the bottom of the bowl, place in the butter & chocolate & melt together stirring until chocolate has melted, then take bowl off & set aside.
Step 3
Place sugar & egg in another bowl & whisk until frothy, best us an electric mixer for this, then add vanilla fi using & whish in, next add flour & cocoa powder & fold in with a spatula until smooth batter is reached.
Step 4
Tip batter into a greased & lined baking tin & bake for about 20 to 25 mins depending on depth until skewer comes out just clean, set aside to cool.
Step 5
Using the same bain Marie method add all the ingredients into the bowl & melt together until smooth.
Step 6
Remove brownie for the tin, place it on a serving platter & pour over the hot sauce over the top & spread an even coat across, allow to chill then place in the fridge to set & cut into portions.
Suggestion & Tips
To keep, wrap portions up in cling film & freeze, Best eaten warm with whipped double cream. You can add chopped walnut into cake mix.
