Ingredients & Prep
4 Chicken thigh leg joints
Marinade
100 g
Plain yoghurt
4 Garlic cloves finely grated
1 tbsp
Fresh ginger finely grated
1 tbsp
Lemon juice
1 tbsp
Tomato purée
1 tbsp
Runny honey
1 tbsp
Smoked paprika
2 tsp
Ground cumin
2 tsp
Ground coriander
1 tsp
Ground turmeric
1 tsp
Chilli powder
1/2 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Ground white pepper
Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 120°C fan.
Step 2
In a good sized bowl mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl, then add chicken joints & marinate for at least 5 hour or over night which is best.
Step 3
The best way to cook is to place joints in a baking dish/tin cover with tin foil & place in a low oven for 1 1/2 hours first.
Step 4
Re-baste joined with cooking sauce & place on the barbeque until browned around the edges.

You can finish cooking these under the grill.
