Ingredients & Prep

   600 g  raw prawns de-shelled & de-frosted
   2 tbsp  smoked ¬†paprika
   4 garlic clove finely chopped
   2 tsp  cumin seeds toasted & crushed or ground
   1 tsp  oregano dried
   1 lemon juice & zest
   4 tsp  olive oil
   1/2 tsp  salt
   1 tsp  freshly ground black pepper


  Step 1
Use long metal skewers on the barbecue for two reasons, wood/bamboo ones will burn even after soaking in water, the metal will transfer the heat to the centre of the meat.
  Step 2
Place all the ingredients into a bowl, mix well & leave to rest for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
  Step 3
Thread prawns onto the skewers across the C shape of the prawn so they lie flat, cook for 2 to 3 mins per side

Suggestion & Tips

Nice with a salad & crusty bread.
