Ingredients & Prep
12 Chicken thighs skin & boneless
Marinade & Glaze
4 tbsp
Korean chilli paste (gochujang)
3 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
2 tbsp
Sesame oil
2 tbsp
Honey runny
1 tbsp
Fresh ginger finely grated
1 tbsp
Lime juice
2 Garlic clove finely grated
Garnish
2 Spring onions finely sliced
Method
Step 1
Mix all the marinade/glaze in a good sizes bowl or dish, add chicken thighs cover & leave to marinade for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
Step 2
Pre-heat oven to 120°C fan.
Step 3
Place chicken with all the marinade in a baking tray or dish & cover with tin foil & cook for 1 hour.
Step 4
When done remove from the oven keeping marinade which is now the glaze, re-coat chicken & place on a low heat on the BBQ & cook until coloured re-glazing using a pastry brush every now & then until done (3 to 4 mins per side).
Step 5
Garnish with spring onion.
Suggestion & Tips
Korean chilli paste in available online or supermarket, you can substitute with a mix of 3 parts ketchup 1 part sriracha sauce.
