Ingredients & Prep
600 g
Firm tofu cut into 3 cm cubes
1 Red onion cut to 3 cm squares
2 Bell/sweet pepper cut 3 cm squares
1 Courgette cut into small rounds
Marinade
3 tbsp
Light soy sauce
2 tbsp
Thai vegan fish sauce (seaweed one)
2 tbsp
Thai sweet chilli sauce
2 Garlic finely grated
2 tsp
Ginger finely grated
1 Red chilli finely chopped
2 tsp
Sesame oil
Method
Step 1
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a good sized bowl, then add tofu cubes mix & coat, then leave at room temp for 1 hour.
Step 2
Metal skewers are best, if not soak wooden ones first for an hour, thread on alternately the tofu, onion, pepper & courgette on to the skewers.
Step 3
Place on a cooler side of the BBQ & cook for 6 minutes turning 3 to 4 times.
Suggestion & Tips
Very nice with an Asian salad. Cut veg slightly bigger then the Tofu to stop the tofu from sticking to the grill.
